Macey has gotten herself into a little trouble. We took her to a kennel when we were out of town a few weeks ago and injured her tail there. She apparently wagged it too hard against a fence. She’s actually done this before and it took awhile to heal, but this time she’s really done it.
She refuses to leave it alone (especially at night when we can’t make her stop) and has literally chewed the last 4 to 6 inches of her tail off. Yes, you read that correctly. We’ve called the vet and most likely she will have to have the end of her tail amputated tomorrow morning.
She really hates this collar she has to wear now.

She has a hard time with navigation with it on. She is standing there because she doesn’t think she can fit through that door.

Poor Macy- even if its her own fault. The “lampshade” is pretty funny though!
this is the most hilarious thing i’ve read in a while…great danes aren’t exactly known for their intelligence… poor thing. hahaha
