This June 19th marked 5 years of marriage for Patrick and I. We celebrated the big day by working an airshow. Romantic!
We were so busy around then that I didn’t post anything about it, but Kelly‘s “Show Us” Fridays are now all about weddings, so I’ll celebrate by linking up!
This week is: Show Us Your Wedding Dress.
I found my wedding dress at Chelz in West Plains, MO. It’s a hoppin’ place, let me tell you. BUT I did find a dress I loved for $400. It is strapless with some beading on the top. And it was satin, I believe. It only had a sweep train, but I’m a petite person; I didn’t want it to overpower me!
My Aunt Ginger made my veil. I wanted it to be very simple. Oh, and you can see the buttons up the back in this shot.

I have it draped over a chair in the next picture while my bridesmaids and a few family members prayed for me before the ceremony. My eyes are wide open to avoid crying and ruining my makeup! My maid-of-honor, Sarah, started bawling as soon as she started praying.
My lovely little cousin, Madeline, was my flower girl. She’s so big now!
*These pictures are a little grainy because I had to scan them in. My CD is burried in storage somewhere in the middle of this move! But I loved my photographer. Jason Hudson is based in North West Arkansas, if you’re interested.

AND I’m hosting a really fun Thrill Ride Giveaway in my husband’s Pitts S2B! If you live within driving distance of SE Kansas and like a little adrenaline rush then check it out!
